Fireworks Font Selection tips

I don’t know if you’ve ever had a problem with this, but font selection in Fireworks is basically as painful as font selection could ever be on a computer. When you click the Font menu to select a new font, it always starts at the top. If you choose a font, and then want to change it to a variant (swap Helvetica for Helvetica Neue?) the font menu starts you off at the top, etc… Thanks Adobe, well played.
Here are some useful shortcuts I just found:

1. use the Help menu to select a font by typing its name, avoiding the usability car wreck that is the font menu in the first place.

2. run this small javascript command to set the “quick list” (list of recently used fonts that is at the top of the font menu) to 0, so that every time you open the font menu, it defaults to the last-used font (making the menu at least semi-useful).
